New Irish 400m hurdles record for Thomas Barr

Thomas Barr has broken his own Irish 400m hurdles record by slicing a full quarter-of-a-second off his previous mark in finishing fourth at the Golden Gala Diamond League meeting in Rome.

370 days ago, the Irish record was over a second slower thank the new mark of 48.65.
